Mold is natural occurring organism, and is present almost everywhere. In an indoor environment hundreds of different kinds of mold are able to grow wherever there is moisture and an organic substrate (food source). Mold can grow on building and other materials including: the paper on gypsum wallboard (drywall), ceiling tiles, wood products, paint, wallpaper, carpeting, furnishings, books, papers, clothes and other fabrics. Mold can also grow on moist, dirty surfaces such as concrete, fiberglass insulation, and ceramic tiles.
Water accumulation in indoor environments can lead to mold growth. Removing mold growth and correcting the underlying cause of water accumulation can help reduce mold exposure. The presence of mold growth, or water damage should be addressed quickly. Water damaged materials should be removed and the structure of the home should dried and treated for mold. The underlying moisture problem must be corrected to prevent recurring mold growth.
We have the right training and the right tools to identify and remediate mold.
Our process:
A visual inspection will be done in to identify a possible mold problem, and determine remedial strategies. Crawlspaces, attics and behind wall board will be checked. Carpet, carpet backing and padding, wallpaper, moldings, and baseboards, and will also be inspected. We utilize infared cameras which detect moisture, moisture meters, and borescope to view behind walls. The extent of mold growth will be assessed and affected building materials identified. At this time a scope of work will be written up and remediation can begin.

1. Inspection and Mold Assessment
The process begins with a thorough inspection of the property to assess the extent and type of mold growth. Professionals use advanced tools like moisture meters, infrared cameras, and air quality tests to pinpoint hidden mold and its source, such as water leaks or high humidity. A detailed plan is then created to address the infestation and prevent future outbreaks, ensuring all affected areas are identified for effective remediation.
2. Containment and Mold Removal
To prevent mold spores from spreading, experts establish containment zones using plastic sheeting, negative air pressure, and HEPA filtration. They then safely remove contaminated materials, such as drywall, carpeting, or insulation, that cannot be salvaged. Using specialized cleaning agents and tools, they eliminate mold colonies from structural surfaces and disinfect the area, ensuring that the property is free from mold and its harmful effects.
3. Air Filtration and Cleaning
Even after visible mold is removed, microscopic spores can linger in the air, posing ongoing risks to health and property. Professionals use high-efficiency air scrubbers and HEPA vacuums to capture these airborne particles and purify the air. All surfaces, including walls, floors, and personal items, are meticulously cleaned and treated to remove any remaining mold residue, ensuring a healthy and mold-free environment.
4. Repair and Prevention Measures
Once the mold is eradicated, the customer may chose to have us rebuild the space to its original condition. This includes replacing drywall, repainting, and reinstalling flooring or insulation. Our professionals also address the root cause of the mold, such as identifying leaks or ventilation issues, to help prevent future issues. These prevention measures ensure that your property remains safe, structurally sound, and resistant to future mold growth.
